A Note to Our Community –
In light of the safety measures in place to manage the current public health crisis, we wanted to share an update on our current operations at Abacus Row and what you can expect with orders placed during this time.
Our studio + shop located in San Francisco is where we normally carry out all aspects of our business – from our design process and production work to customer service and order fulfillment. Since March we have taken measures to keep our team safe and working by continuing production and management remotely. Limited visits are being made to the studio to ship out orders and to coordinate work for our production team to operate from home.
Online – shop with us digitally!
Our online shop abacusrow.com is always open. We are taking extra precautions and are able to fulfill and ship your orders, though production and fulfillment may take a bit longer due to modified operational changes. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have a date that you need to receive your order by or if you have any questions.
Studio + Shop – local pick-up now available!
Our studio + shop remain closed to the public. However, we are offering pick up for local residents. At checkout, select local pick up and we'll reach out to you to arrange a time. Currently, we are offering pick up on Fridays between 1pm-5pm.
We send our sincere gratitude for your support and patience. Every form of support – an online order, a kind message, and sharing our work with your network – means so much to us.
In an effort to share the support that we receive, we are committed to giving back to our community through the end of the year. Each month, Abacus Row will contribute a portion of our sales to a local-level or mutual aid organization to support efforts in securing the health and safety of low-income and BIPOC communities in the Bay Area. Read more about our efforts and join us in supporting SF-Marin Food Bank, Chinatown Community Development Center, TGI Justice Project, an organically grown urban farm in Bayview SF and La Cocina's Emergency Relief Fund.
This holiday season, we will be contributing a percentage of our sales to support the community-based work of Asian Pacific Environmental Network and Chinatown Community Development Center.
Stay strong, safe, and well.
– Christine and the Abacus Row team
