Join me on Wednesday, June 19 for BUDS! I'm opening up the studio doors for an intimate pop-up with some of my wonderful and talented creative friends.

I couldn't be more excited about partnering up with such an awesome group of women. Each of whom, it turns out, leaves some mark in my everyday, either at work or at home. 

THE BUDS:

Melanie Abrantes Designs – Melanie Abrantes is one of my dearest creative business friends. She designs and crafts beautiful wood and cork home products. I own many MAD pieces, my favorite among them is her buckeye burl bud vase that sits on my dresser. 

Maria Schoettler – Maria is the talented illustrator who created the flier above for this upcoming Buds pop-up. If you've ordered jewelry from us recently, you may have admired the sweet pink and orange tissue paper adorned with poppies. She also designed that goodness.  

Pair Up – Our bud Emma Brooks just launched her clothing line of thoughtful basics at the end of May. So much to celebrate! We can't wait for you to try on her new painter's jackets in all the bold colors. Emma also founded Hands-On Everyday, an incredible resource for customizable designs that I've used for materials for Abacus Row.  

GDS Cloth Goods – Geana Sieburger founded GDS to provide sustainable alternatives for people who appreciate simple modern design and to offer a line that contributes to a more equitable fashion and textile industry. You can usually find me in one of Geana's smocks at the studio. Perhaps, I'll wear it next Wednesday :) 

Sarah Kersten – Sarah produces sculpturally beautiful and effortlessly functional pottery. I have a couple of her deep ramen bowls in my home that make all of our meals a little nicer and are way too pretty to ever put away in a cabinet. 

In addition to all the wonderful friends that will be present on Wednesday, I'm also incredibly excited for the launch of our Blue/Red Collection next week. The collection will hit the online store on Wednesday and will be in our studio showroom ready to try-on and shop at our Buds pop-up!
