“Chúc Mừng Năm Mới” is Vietnamese for Happy New Year!

Celebrate Lunar New Year with a set of 5 lì xì (lucky money) envelopes featuring Year of the Snake original illustrations by Stacy Nguyen.

Each lì xì is fully reversible and designed in a no-glue format. One side features the illustrated artwork, while the reverse showcases a utilitarian “envelope-style” design that allows them to be sent through the post/mail.

Through the red envelope, one of the most widely recognized traditions associated with the Lunar New Year, Stacy Nguyen’s Vietnamese-centric designs give visibility to Vietnamese communities on a holiday that is often regarded as Chinese New Year. Stacy is a Vietnamese American illustrator, visual designer, and writer whose work explores the ways race, Vietnameseness, and gender intersect within the lens of popular culture.
