Symbolic of the earth, Bánh Chưng is considered an essential element of a Vietnamese family altar on the occasion of Tết.

A time honored traditional Vietnamese food made from glutinous rice, mung beans, pork and other ingredients.

A project of the Bánh Chưng Collective. The Collective was born out of a desire to affirm and strengthen community bonds between women, lgbtqia, and people of color. For over a decade the collective has convened friends and chosen family to celebrate Lunar New Year.
