In Chinese culture, the circle symbolizes harmony, oneness and perfection. Named for the Mandarin pronunciation for circle, “yuan” also captures both the literal roundness of the beads and bold fullness of this design.
This necklace has a clasp closure and an adjustable silk extension that allows for this design to be worn as a close-fitting collar, as short as 13.5”, or short necklace, measuring 17”.
