We're delighted to share our first edition of Abacus Row merchandise—the Three Harmony Animals Tee. 

In the spirit of bringing more tranquility and understanding to this year, we collaborated with artist Yerrie Choo to bring the power of the Three Harmony Animals to life. The Three Harmony Animals are mythical creatures, each a hybrid of traditionally opposing animals from different celestial heritages. They are the 8-Legged Lion, Fur-Bearing Fish, and Makara Dragon. Each of these mythical creatures carries its own unique qualities of harmony, composure, and protection. When presented together in unity, they create a sanctuary of peace and resolution in your life.

The inspiration for our first-ever merch came from a fortune telling book that I purchased at a feng shui shop in Vegas over the holidays. I was completely fascinated by the story of the Three Harmony Animals and shared a random feng shui mall link about them to Yerrie, who I barely knew at that time. Apparently, the fascination and enthusiasm around these mythical creatures was shared because now we have this excellent tee with all sorts of fantastical and geomancy feels. This project was such a fun and unexpected collaboration that makes me grateful for the friendships that lead to new friendships and connections around the bizarre and charming.

Yerrie Choo is an artist and designer whose work reflects the unseen energies that animate the room. They inspire her to live in the moment and appreciate the small details within her surroundings. You can see Yerrie’s work in this year’s zine and over on her account!
