“Chúc Mừng Năm Mới” is Vietnamese for Happy New Year!
Through the red envelope, one of the most widely recognized traditions associated with the Lunar New Year, Stacy Nguyen’s Vietnamese-centric designs give visibility to Vietnamese communities on a holiday that is often regarded as Chinese New Year.
A set of 5 lì xì (lucky money) envelopes featuring Year of the Tiger illustrations. The envelopes feature tigers with botanical symbols of luck from Vietnamese culture (chrysanthemums, kumquats, peach blossoms, orchids and Vietnamese mai flower). These envelopes also incorporate the five different elements: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
